blackline tailights, a black grille, and tinted windows would be a nice place to start.

^^^ TMoney's Mods:

Full M-Tech Kit - an absolute must, it makes the car 100% more aggressive
Vorsteiner vented hood - not a necessary mod but damn does it look good.
Gloss black front grill - either matte black or gloss black, your grills need to be black.
Gloss black window trim - subtle mod, but adds a lot to the overall appearance of the car.
Carbon fiber splitters - the perfect compliment to the M-Tech Kit
Carbon fiber trunk spoiler - balances out the look of the car, keeps the rear looking as aggressive as the front.
BMW Performance 19's - Do not pass go, do not collect $200, get these rims asap!

19 inch wheels damage the suspension??? bullshit! or tell me why BMW sell some 19" wheels for the E90/91/92/93

your modlist sould have this:

-M-Tech kit (best looking kit for the E90)
-19" wheels
-drop (Springs with shocks or coilover)
-black kidney grills
-blackline rearlights
-rear spoiler
-Vorsteiner frontlip or CF splitter from BMW
-Exhaust (important! b/c the 320 haves ugly tips)

after this mods, your car would look hooootttt!!!!

ill take you guys word for it though and go with the 19s... any recommendations for rims? or just go with the BMW performance alloys?

If it comes down to rubbing all you have to do is "roll your fenders", very cheap, not too risky and it pays off big. . .but 19's should fit no problem on the suspension your running.

None of those things will make it look hot. You need a gas can and a box of matches.

I think all the suggestions so far have been pretty much spot on. Wheels will make a huge difference.
