Was browsing their website and find out that their "superchip" would increase the bhp of a 335i to 360bhp.... Anyone used their mod before or done some engine managment tuning? Would you guys trust a BMW main dealer to fit and install the AC Schnitzer chip? Or would you go to a tuning company?

BMW broke off their relationship with ACS a yr or so ago so no way will they endorse this.

I fact all tuning of the 335i is toboo to BMW.

A high end piggyback like the JB3 ( I think the ACS is actually a piggy ) or full re-map by Evolve, DMS, CA Auto etc is the way to go.

anyway 360 sucks...

400 is easily doable with a procede v2 on it's own, NO other mods...

Looks like all the remaps that are currently doing the rounds are heavy on the torque... in comparison to the piggy back options which all try to keep torque below the 400 ftlb point to protect the trannie...

I think Big tone is pushing upwards of 430 ftlb !!! Which is monstrous !! So Remaps are giving like 370 to 390 bhp with torque of over 400 and Piggy backs give upwards of 420 440 bhp with torque held below 400 (with intake and DP's obviously)

Either way I'd avoid BMW (UK) like the plague if I were you...

As Serjames said, it's a piggyback like the jb range. There is no way BMW would fit it for you. Give Rossitters a call for prices and fitters.

I'd avoid BMW too if I were you!! Besides, the relationship between BMW and ACS has deteriorated to the point that BMW took legal action against ACS!

The auto gearbox can easily withstand 440-450lbft of torque, provided the inbuilt safety parameters within the ECU and gearbox itself have not been played around or removed altogether...
