UUC sway bar noise issue?
I had the UUC sway bars installed couple weeks ago along with the KW V3 coil overs. I noticed that there is an annoying screeching noise coming from the front suspension. I brought it back to the shop that did the install for some other work. They also looked for the source of the noise. It seems like it is coming from the sway bar moving around in the PUR bushings. Any one have a similar problem? Thanks~

Thanks~ I'll ask my shop to look into it. The noise is really annoying during low speed city driving going over bumps.

Yeah, just grease them liberally. I've had really good results with amsoil's marine grease (purple) if you're looking for specifics. Great durability, holds up to the elements, and no noise.

Just another heads up. Most shops will use lithium grease which has great lubrication properties but may have to reapplied after a harsh winter. If the sound won't bother you till the end of next week (I'll be back then), I can give you a tube of the grease I used. Otherwise, look for something with durability, it's a huge mess to reapply that gunk.
