Laser lights tiny scratches

Hi guys, 2022 X5 here with 1300 miles on a clock, found these tiny scratches (or at least I think they are) inside the head lights on the both sides about 25mm from the top. Not sure I've seen them before but you really need to look hard to notice them. I took some pictures, hope it's visible.

You can't feel them from outside at all, also headlights have ppf on them but I don't think it's related

If anyone seen this before or have some advice, I'd love to hear it.

Thank you!

I would agree, not sure what could cause this to happen though this is definitely internal as I mentioned I can't feel anything from outside

I should probably take it to the dealer to check it out, maybe show it to my SA not to setup a full blown appointment unless necessary

leaving on vacation tomorrow, so this will have to wait for couple of weeks, I'll update my findings

If anyone has any other inputs I'd like to hear it

Don't say a word about the film on the lenses if they agree to replace

My 2022 has the same thing on both sides. I noticed it when there was 25 miles on the car.

I'm taking it in next week to have the dealer fix a few blemishes the car came with and will ask them then. Guessing it's normal.

I wasn't there but I don't believe so, especially not for the hood installation

HEY - I looked in my laser lights and I have the SAME thing. It looks like a wire and it is on both sides. I wonder if it is some sort of thin gauge grounding wire? Either way since we both have it, it might be on purpose? Let me know what you find out. My vehicle is only like a week old so...can't be from wear and tear.

as mentioned in this post: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...72&postcount=8

seems to be a witness lines, this is one of the better explanations I have seen related to this subject.

I wanted to stop by my SA when I first saw these but haven't had a chance to do so yet.
