Hi all, I am very new to this so im sorry for sounding like a twat.

I would like to sync my dde to my cass after the dde has been cloned by a cloner. The ews protection thing has kicked in and now the car cranks but no start.

Do i need ista P to sort this? If so can i get a link?

You don't give very much information about your vehicle but the likelihood is that it uses the EWS4 system which does not involve rolling code alignment between CAS and DME/DDE.

Those videos in post #3 are either erroneous (the first one, which proports to show an N54 engine being aligned in ISTA) or irrelevant (the second, because it's an E46 with an older version of EWS)

There is nothing you can do without specialized and expensive software/ equipment. Basically, your cloner is not competent.
