have to share my jb3 experience...

hey e90post
So i installed my jb3 today and let me tell you its awesome. For everyone to know i was running on jbx before the jb3. Now i feel and notice that the jbx is a lot more powerful and torquey than the jb3 1.1, but when i did a couple of pulls with the jb3 i noticed something different than the jbx. it feels almost like i have vtech lol(i know i know sounds crazy),but i feel my car pull really hard at about 1.5k-3.5k rpms (almost like jbx)and then after that it just stays steady but then when it reaches up to 5k-6.5k rpm it pulls again and even harder like vtech hits me lol, its so crazy i love it i just cant wait now for 1.2
sorry but i had to post this, is anyone feeling the same thing as me?

And yes, the JB3 does feel like that. The new 1.2v that is coming out in January will have a lag fix as well as some more low end torque. Some say that they miss the kick in the butt feeling in the lower revs. Others like the linear feel. The new chip will please both parties .

I personally love the JB3 and am planning to keep it for a while .

Free if you purchased the JB3 after 10/1, but if you purchased it before, then its only $20 or so.

I am installing 1.2 tomorrow and already have rode in a friends car with 1.2 and let me tell you...HUGE DIFFERENCE down low. Lagfix is SICK and map 6 is where its at if you can run it.

The upgrade chip will be 20 bux for those that ordered before October, and free to those who have ordered recently.

There are a few vendors here that carry the JB3, including myself (shameless plug) so you can surf around and look at some prices. Currently the JB3 does not ship with the new 1.2 chip but with 1.11, but if you ordered it now you would get a free upgrade when it comes out (mid January)

there are a lot of reviews on here, so do some searching and if you can't find the answers feel free to PM or post

Hope that clears some of your questions up.

Dan, you're gonna love the LagFix 2.0 maps with your post 29.2. I've been beta testing the new 1.2 for a few weeks, and i can tell you you'll feel the difference. I have pre-29.2 and i feel it, so it will do wonders for your car

yeah, i'm pre-29.2 and trying to keep it that way as long as possible. 1.2 map is perfectly fine for pre-29.2 guys. I love running map 6 w/lagfix. I'm sure it makes a bigger difference on POST 29.2 cars, but i can still feel the difference on my car with and without lagfix. A bit more power down low.

ill have to +1 on that one. No traction from 1st, 2nd,3rd on the track. DR's are a must. Pulls insanely with 100 octane
