only heard of evolve out of that list I too would be concerned about generating a lot more torque than the gearbox recomends !
however ... mines done by E-MAPS, very happy with mine !!! i know a lot of people recomend DMS highly and ive heard they are excellent. But from my own a experience, DMS quoted me more than double E-MAPS Must be good though for that price ??!

Yeah my Mines good (DMS Automotive) , come to me when i need re-flash. It was not no where near double E-maps either.
Also a well established product from one of the best tuning companies going. Warranty also. The P-tronic is a tuning box Chris. I would like to see one on a 335d though. See what it does make and also how it would fair on track.

well when i was considering a remap i saw DMS advert quite by accident in a copy of the EVO magazine, i rang the numer and got quoted about £900 approximately, i forget exactly how much but it nearly made me drop my mobile
( but im guessing i must of been miss quoted as 335d does sound very similar to Ferrari Enzo )

How much was your map from e-maps? I paid 600 from DMS which was more than what i was quoted by emaps.

Well a some guy from other forum has a E91 335d and he called ZF and they told the gearbox can handle 750nm. And i think P-tronic guys knows what the gears can handle... but i have read an article in the newest BmwCar about evolve tuned 335d 335i and the 335d was incredible !! In couple of months ill be changing my car and im sure ill go for a Bmw 3 but yet i dont know which one e92 335i/335d or 335i E93...

DMS offer good backup.
Evolve offer good backup. E Maps is a bit of a legend also. The others have no history that i know of? so i would pick one of the above 3, but wouldn't pay more than £300 for the pleasure. |

Yep I have a e-maps remap on my 335d, Simon will come to you, he will also reflash for free (as most do).
I believe Carlos went with DMS because they offer a warranty that 'may' cover you if BMW were to refuse a warranty claim after finding a map. I have never heard of BMW finding a map and then refusing warranty work. |

I don't think you'll go wrong with either Evolve, SpeedRegligion, DMS, or EMaps. Each have their merits, but the bottom line is that all of them have a decent product. Evolve and DMS have the added advantage of the rolling road to do before and after measurements. Each company will also have different mapping points for fueling, throttle etc etc - that's why there are always subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) differences between different companies. I personally like DMS because of their history in working with BMWs in the past and of the success of their product on my own car. That's nothing against Evolve - personal preference for me. Price-wise I think they're all within the same ball park too.. I'm sure Imran will tell you how much the Evolve product is - you'll have to contact Mike Cooper at DMS to find out how much they charge as it's not listed on their website. Mention you're off the forum to qualify for a forum discount
incidentally - DMS www.dmsautomotive.co.uk
