Have you checked out the Brodit range? Clips onto various parts of the dash and you can have the wires tucked away if you want.

+1 - drove all round Spain last year armed with my TomTom one!

Superb bit of kit! Got me out of Barcelona Airport direct to the villa door 120km away without a single hitch!

It is in the glovebox at all times in case of an emergency 'I am lost' situation !

Its one of reasons why i wasn't bothered about having the BMW sat nav in my car, i don't use it very often and there are much better sat nav's on the market, I'm using the garmin nuvi 200W which is brilliant.

Why pay 2K for sat nav when you can get one for £97! + its miles better!

All the built in sat nav's I've used have been a pile of sh*t!!

I wouldn't call them crap, they are just 10 x overpriced. Now for that sought of extra money I was expecting a whole lot more than its currently got
