Need help with VRSF intercooler

Hey, having a slight issue with my VRSF FMIC, (7.5 inch) for some reason this side isnt lining up… the other side lined up perfectly, but this side the snout from the cooler hits the radiator, and the hole is to far away. I’ve removed the radiator and made sure everything is straight, but it still hits it. Any one else had this and knows what to do?

I'm pretty sure there's some cutting required for the larger VRSF IC, I just thought it was bumper side. It's why I went with the smaller one. It was still substantially larger than OE.

There are some good install vids on youtube worth checking out. No one's perfect, but I think it's unlikely it's a defective product.

Good luck.

It's hard to tell from the angle of the pic but it looks like you may have the front tilted down. Make sure there isn't something in front causing it to rotate down.

Another possibility is the aftermarket radiator you have is thicker than stock, causing interference.

it requires a lot more trimming, looks like the intercooler not lined up and need to move rearward/up

That's usually the issue when you go down this rabbit hole. The various aftermarket companies don't talk. CSF probably has no idea the radiator blocks this VRSF cooler. Best bet is keep searching YouTube and these forums. You'll probably need trim more and Macgyver it in there.
