logic 7
my e46 has harmon kardon. and to use it, you would need to push a 'enhancer' button. and all the speakers on the car would say harmon kardon on it.
is this the same for logic 7? im not sure if my car has it or not. will it say logic 7 on the speakers or would it have a button to enhance sounds? how could you tell? |

If you have idrive there is a setting to turn it on, but there is no audible confirmation that it is on. Don't know if this is the same for MY09, or cars without iDrive.

MY07-08 Included Logic 7 as Standard (on e90/e92 335) When your at the main menu, you should be able to click on the 'i' and it will take you to the system settings and then in the 'audio' you can turn Logic 7 on. I'll check tomorrow and give you specifics.
Or you can download the manual for your car off of the forum, and check the Audio section.

The "Spatializer" feature function -by pressing that button-in the E46 Harman Kardon OEM sound system was to simulate the sound coming from equal distances from the driver, like the driver was seated exactly in the middle of the car. This function was completely analog and the only EQ was speed-dependent bass. The Logic7 feature digitally separates the sound into 7 discrete channels so it simulates a surround environment with vehicle-specific time alignment and EQ. There is also a speed-dependent bass compensation. |
