the sport package suspension on the 335i seems good enough to me, is it really worth a few inches lower to have to get boned by speedbumps all the time?

Depending on the suspension setup you go with, there are aftermarket alternatives that lower the car without making them impractical for everyday use.

still bumping has to be someone...what aftermarket alternatives are there to lower your car other than putting springs...which as i have read would be a bad idea as it can drastically reduce the life of other suspension component...that is why i want to see how a car with the vmr's look without the drop..bc i would rather not replace the whole suspension for and inch

We have a few options for your car. You can go with a spring/shock combo replacement like the Koni FSD/Eibach Pro Kit or H&R Cup Kit. Or you can do a coilover setup which is similar but offers height and in some cases dampening adjustment.

yea i have seen those options which ares all about a 1000 dollars and it would be a bit much for a cosmetic appeal...so that is why I would like to keep the zsp suspension...thank u for the options but would love to still see picks of the vmr an e90 with sports package and zsp height

This is timic101's car. He's confirmed to me that it's not dropped. (See post #10 here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=180106)

By the way, his car is an xi, so you'd probably be even better off. I'm also considering the V710s for the car I have on order. If/when you make a decision, be sure to post pics!

Lots of people keep their car at original ride height, as long as their cars come with the factory sports package. There is also a lot of suspensions appearing on the market that are designed for ride comfort... Two of them I can name are KW Street Comfort, and Eibach Pro Kit / Koni FSD. In these cases, the ride quality isn't negatively affected.
