Question Reseating left fog light

I was on the freeway with no real room to change lanes when I see what appears to be some sort of housing in the road, maybe the size of a flat screen monitor. I hit it, no way around it.

Half a minute later the fog light symbol comes up with an exclamation mark on it. When I get home I see that the left fog light was popped into the bumper housing.

Has anyone had this happened and fixed it?

Any directions on how to repair or get into the bumper to reseat it?

Update: I jacked up the car and unbolted the flat panel/covering from under the front bumper. Turns out whatever I hit sheared the plastic housing behind the light. Connects to the bumper with two screws. Will be ordering a new back housing for the light and replace it.

Pics and directions to follow...
