And just like a modern jet fighter, the Reventón is not made of metal. Lamborghini has gone to all this trouble to create a carbon-fiber masterpiece and then used a paint called Gray Barra due that by virtue of infusion with metallic particles resembles steel.
In short, the Reventón is meant to reassure the doubters for whom the Italian company's pure bloodline was forever contaminated by marriage into the Audi family. This is why it carries the name of a famous bull (like all Lamborghinis): in this case the name of Reventón, which killed the well-known novillero Felix Guzman in 1943 at a bullring in Mexico. http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=123301 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

*vomit*...Lamborghini's "aesthetic" design may have been impressive in the 80s, but this - for me - is uninspired. I've never liked Lamborghinis tho. The face is a step in the right direction, but the butt is hideous.

BMW Victory - the image isn't working for some reason. I tried it and it works fine in the tool but not in the preview or in the actual post. You may want to load the image to your machine then upload it to the post as an attachment. Welcome aboard, BTW!
That pic is priceless (or at least the contents deisplayed are worth more than the GDP of most third world countries ; -). |

At the Concorso Italiano every year they park the Lamborghinis (Diablos, Countachs, et al) in the 'Hot Wheels' corral. ; -)

I love the look of the "standard" Murcielago, but I am not feeling the Reventon. It looks like a Cylon from the old Battlestar Galactica series. There are too many angles, whereas the "vanilla" Murcielago has flowing curves and lines. I mean, compare the way the headlights flow into the body seams on the previous model, but slant outward and independently on the Reventon.

Bugatti. World-class fast and world-class fugly. While the Lambo is hideous as well, at least it has character. :iono: Maybe...

I would take candy from a baby just for the candy, but yeah, that's pretty nice. Reminds me of a Stealth Bomber, you thinks it's immune to police radar?
I've always perceived Lambo as a little soulless next to Ferrari (even prior to the German influence), but that thing looks like it means business. |
