Trans Pan Swap 6HP19/6L45R

New to this forum and getting to know the car.

I have a 2007 328i with the N52 and the 6L45R tranny, planning to change the fluid soon and began ordering parts this past week.

Got a package deal off of ebay with a pan, filter, gasket and bolts.

Now, i see this and i jump on ordering it.
Well, i see 6HP19 when ordering, think maybe its a part number. Then see it again today, decide to google it and find out its a model number for a transmission. I face palmed at this point because i ordered on christmas and all of its coming today....

So if the question isnt obvious already, is it possible to run a 6HP19 trans pan on the 6L45R? If not perhap just the gasket even?

Based off pictures i noticed theyre somewhat similar only thing i see is the filter looks to be built into the pan on the 6HP19 and its a different story for the 6L45R.

This is one of those curiousity questions really. Its not the end of the world if i have to send the pan and the stuff with it back, just an inconvienence im wondering if i could perhaps work with instead. The Kit was only around $50, the filter and gasket are $25 so if anything id be in the green.

There is no cross compatibility with parts between the ZF 6HP19 and GM 6L45. The ZF has the transmission filter (and technically the gasket as it sits in a channel in the pan) integrated into the pan and the GM has a separate filter element (pan replacement is not needed unless it has issues) and a completely different type/style of gasket for the pan. Fluid is going to be different as well.
