Has ANYONE tried Pulsar turbos?
About ready to love to a Garrett G35-1050 or 6466 level turbo. I love the torque of the twins but with this motor the turbos are holding me back a lot.
The price of a Pulsar G35 equivalent or 6466 is a little over a THOUSAND dollars. That’s compelling to say the least!! Is anyone running a Pulsar and if so, how’s it holding up? Anyone know how good they are and long they last by comparison?

did a similar search back then.
and I got a pulsar 6262 bb. From my reading, those were quality copies of major brands, they even use similar names. They do their ''own'' r&d for turbos, but they are known for their copies. yes they are cheap, but this is a fair price for casting and crafting those turbos on ''borrowed'' blueprints. Standard flanges, so easy to get rid of it if you have issues. Also, they seem to have a solid website with a ton of available turbo options. Mine particularly got water cooling and oil feed, which not all turbo got. Is it good ? I dont know, is the cooling only heat the system or it's really beneficial for the turbo ? From my reading, seems like people dont have issues. Mine is working fine, but it's brand new, time will tell. Also, one day Ive parked the car in the garage, get out, open the hood, get my battery tender. So what 30-45sec after I shutoff the car, and when I was about to plug the tender, I was hearing a small noise under the hood, and I noticed the turbine was still spinning ! Cant tell if its a quality mark, but hey, it has very low friction. (exhaust heat decreasing also can help on air movement by convection) |

One of the big ST conversion companies uses Pulsar turbos in their kit. Speedtech maybe? I haven't heard of anyone having issues, it's certainly nothing like the Chinese twins everyone loves to try lol
