Here are my results using CRC Intake Valve Cleaner on the N54.
Instead of using short sprays at 2000 rpm, I used long sprays until bogging.
Let sit a hour not 30 mins, then hit the triples.

Any little vacumm to the turbo blow off valve hose on the intake manifold just pull it off.
