2006 325i Will Not Stay Running/Stalling With Multiple Codes

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for help on this considering I'm just trying to get the car running to sell it since it got destroyed by hail and I prefer my E46 anyway. So I'm not trying to put too much money into it and fix it myself.

At the moment the car will start but barely, multiple misfires but will randomly run smoothly for like 5 seconds and then go back to fluttering just trying to stay on then shortly die after

This all started with evap codes and quickly escalated from there.

Here are the codes:
P0442 - Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected (small leak)
P0344 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1 or single sensor)
P0369 - Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Intermittent (Bank 1)

The rest are misfire codes from every cylinder.

I have replaced both sensors with parts from FCP Euro

I can't see if the cam sensor codes went away since it won't run long enough after clearing the codes to bring up new ones.

Any guidance on where to start would be awesome.

Thank you!

Btw I believe I posted this in the right thread, if not, let me know and I will delete it and post it in the correct thread.

Even if it won't run long enough, you sound have codes. Any other codes coming up. You could have a vacuum leaks.

I just tried to start it again, but nothing now, just keeps cranking.

By the way, it started after I changed the camshaft position sensors with the same symptoms.

I pulled two different codes now.

P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit (Bank 1 or single sensor)
P0365 - Camshaft Position Sensor B Circuit (Bank 1)

(SMH)

both are installed correctly with new O-rings

Those are the only codes at the moment
