Possible Auto issue

Hi all, newbie to the world of automatics. Got a 320i with the steptronic box. All great other than one thing i noticed today. When rolling about 20mph I floored it and the revs just shot up like I missed a gear / hit neutral. Not had an auto before so not sure if this is normal, like a delay in it picking the right gear with me suddenly flooring the accelerator pedal. Drives spot on all the other time and as I dont often have to move quick never noticed before

Is this normal or anything I may need to keep an eye on at all? No warning lights on at all

2017 320i for reference

Thanks in advance
