Wheel Bairings under warranty????
i was just told they think the issue im hearing is wheel bairings and that theres dents in the rims and that b/c it looks like i hit a pot hole, well not me i just bought the car, that they wont cover it. What can i do? If you buy a car from a dealer can you return it? how long do you have?

hard impacts can damage wheel bearings, though usually its really just a bad wheel bearing. since the dealer seems to want to stick with its your fault...id go back to the dealer you got the car from and tell them whats up...they should pay for the repair if you just bought the vehicle...

It is very difficult to damage a wheel bearing. BMW wheel bearings are sealed units with no adjustment available and are very tough. The impact from a pothole most likely would not damage a wheel bearing without causing other damage to the suspension and seriously bend the wheel. I agree with volkswackin, it's a bad bearing from the factory.
