urgent help on tyre pressures

Sorry guys, spent all of last nite researching the threads but couldn't find an exact figure...

I got 18inch wheels atm....standard bmw ones....

I went to the petrol station today to fill up again....and I decided to check the tyre pressures....now I don't know nothing about that bar measurement....

all i know is that for my other cars,....I normally used 32 psi (?) on the front and 30 (psi?) on the rears because it was front wheel drive cars...

I want to know what is the correct tyre pressure for my tyres at the moment....

I think I remember last nite reading one of Carlos's post and he said he puts 40s on all of them! but hes ones are 19 inch wheels...

I read the small sticker on the side door, and it was in that bar measurement thingy...so not sure....anyway, i've put 40 on the rear tyres and about 36/ 38? to the front....

IS THAT RIGHT?

cheers!!!

Can't you just 'google' for a conversion chart from bar to psi.

checked them cold....will give it anothr check tomorrow mornign before I head off to work...I will aim for 38 for the fronts and 42 at the rears....i like them well inflated! ;-) ....

another thing I've noticed is that the car is pulling to the left slightly....hmmmm...another hassle for the tracking now!!!...not even sure if this is covered by the BMW used car warranty....

Thats a lot - my E90 is only 2.2F 2.5R bar on PS2's on 18"s. (32/35 psi)

Anyhow, these garage air lines have BAR & PSI on them, and any pressure gauge sold in our lifetime will have BAR on it too.
