Eibach Pro Spring Kit
Ive been doing a bit of research on lowering springs for my e90, Im looking for springs only and dont want to sacrifice ride comfort. I have read alot of positives on the Eibach Pro Kit, people say that the ride is vertually the same as standard, has anyone had any experience with these springs?? They sound good and are reasonably priced. Any help appreciated.
Also if anyone has upgraded to coilovers and has a set of eibach, H&R etc lying around that they wanna sell, let me know |

Ive got the pro kit on my e90 and its spot on!
I ran the car with 18" MV3's for a while and recently ive put a set of 19" BBS LM reps on. The car sits perfect with either set of wheel on. Id highly recommend the kit! Im from the north east too, so depending where you are your quite welcome to have a look or a ride out in mine! |

I like them, will look even better when you've lowered it.
I had a set to go on mine but sold them late last year as I may be getting rid of the car soon. Had it dropped on H&R Sports though in readiness for the LM's but it still looks good without them. Jules |

Ive done a few sets myself on my e36, a new mini, a corsa, an astra coupe etc, took me a couple of hours, but the last few ive just let my local garage fit them, at £50 its not really worth me getting my hands dirty.

Dont know mate to be honest, but I know of 2 places locally that will do it at that price (one of them sell lowering springs etc though so you may have to buy the kit from them to get it fitted at that price, ive never used them personally)
Ring a few places local to yourself and ask them, go for smaller back street garages though as they wont tend to charge as much, it should only take a fully equiped garage with a lift around and hour to do, so £50 aint really that cheap. |

Usually around £100 - £120 for a normal garage to fit 4 springs, which is still good IMO. I've done loads on older cars like MK2 Golfs, Minis, etc but wouldn't want to on a 1 year old BMW.
I'd also be keen to get the suspension geo checked at the same time, and while a 25mm drop shouldn't alter the geo out of tolernace its always good to ensure that when ANY part of a cars suspension / chassis is altered that the tracking, etc is checked and tweaked where necessary.
