I'm not sure what code exactly is being thrown, but its now day 2 of this really frigid temps here in toronto. It's roughly -15 to -30 celcius depending on windchill.

Yesterday when i started the car to go to work, it had an extremely rough start-up (instead of idling at 1,200 rpms to warm up properly) it was idling at 500-600 rpms BADLY... it was so bad, it threw a CEL. Think of a tractor-trailer idling... thats how it felt/sounded.

After about 30 seconds of that terrible idle, I turned it off and back on. It started to idle properly and no more CEL.

Today, same problem. Nasty idle, CEL went up, I turned the car off and back on... STILL bad idling... this time it showed a "Coolant level too low" warning. I turned it off again, and back on... started to idle fine and warm up like it should.

Any ideas or suggestions? This is getting rather annoying.

This weekend I'm going to install v3 rev2 to replace my v2 completely.

Sounds like it may have something to do with your coolant level

Seriously? On a day like today where its -30... just exactly what kind of cooling could it possibly use? lol

There is a level sensor in there. If coolant level goes low, it will give you a warning. It's also possible that one of the sensors in the cooling system went bad or read what it believes to be implausible data. Might want to talk to your dealership on that one. None of the PROcede iterations ever intercepted/modified any cooling system related signals. So that issue would be non-tune related. Should be easy for the dealership to troubleshoot/fix.
