E91 toolkit

Strange request, can someone with an E91 show me a picture of their toolkit configuration in the left side of the boot as I cannot figure out where the spanner goes.

With the new 2009 year, E91 all you get is the Tow thingy, a screw driver and a wheel nut key. No spanner and no long L shaped whatever it is. My guess is that year 2010 even the tow thingy and the screw driver will come as an extra!

Steve, did you get a spanner?

B'stards! I didn't, just the tow eye, screwdriver and wheel bolt key.

Mike,

It's right, there should be no spanner.

I only got one because the salesman took the one out of my old car and sent it to me!

When I got it I could'nt see where it went!

Phil,

The spec changed from Sept 2008, no spanner.

What is the size of that spanner (might get an after market one!) and what is that thingy that looks like a miniature starter handle of the days gone by?

"Starter handle" is the emergency sunroof closing tool - if the motor were to fail etc.

You should also have a spanner, but maybe they removed that one on later models. It looks like the tray was designed to take one more tool, but I have no idea what that is.
