Sstt Throws A Code?
Hi, i had the SSTT ever since i got the car back in 07. I was on the old progman ever since. A few weeks ago i went in for service and they updated me to the newest version probably 32.1. When i installed the SSTT before i broke the clip by accident as many others have on the TMAP. The other day I put in the SSTT and it did not go in the full way because the clip is broken (this never happend before) I turned on the car and it threw a SERVICE ENGINE CODE. I went to autozone to see what the code was it came out to be: PO238. There was no diagnoses for BMW but other brands came on like CHRYSLER, VOLKSWAGEN, and FORD...It says BB1: Poor electrical connection BB2: Faulty Boost sensor, Faulty MAP sensor.
After i checked the code, the engine light went away and the SSTT is in. My question is: Should I try to get the code cleared before i go in for my next service? Is it ok to just leave it like that? Do you think the dealer will check for evidence to see if there was any tuning device?
