Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG MOVIE! I felt they could have made it a little shorter, but it was entertaining. I yawned about four times, and I thought the ending was great...those bastards.

Got to see it for free...entertaining enough to recommend. Some overplayed drama though.

This movie felt a lot like Matrix Reloaded. A lot of running around, and ultimately just a run-up to the third movie.

Irate about the Caribbean
I went and saw the film and wasn't sure what it was. It seemed too Disneyish and illogical to be for adults, but had lots of scary faces and gore, so it's not appropriate for young kids. Perhaps they made it for people who were about 10 during the last movie, and will bring it up to age 15 for the third.
This narrows the age group to about 12-14. This makes sense, because young girls can get into Orlando Bloom. So it was sort of like if you had Bill & Ted join the Three Musketeers. Kiera Knightly was definitely worth seeing, tho. I think half the movie is based on Johnny Depp's physical comedy, like his effeminate "running away" technique. |

Kiera Commonly
It shouldn't, but that makes me happy for some reason. I guess, because I'll never have her anyway. There's pathology in there somewhere.
