getting into the 3's is ALL about the launch, not going to happen w/ a 335i w/ just street tires. DR's or xi yes.

Just about any 335i in the 11's running 1.80 or quicker 60' times, trapping 115+mph will solidly be in the 3.7-3.9 sec 0-60mph range.

Yup, right in that range. Here are my test results again on the new sedan:
Testing JB+ on 08 335I Sedan. Did some baseline tests on the new 335I sedan. As the car is still pretty new (148 miles), it is still fairly tight, and the numbers are not that great, but still in the ball-park. In my past experience the cars seem to perform quite a bit better once they have about 7000 miles on them, with traps a good 1-1.5mph better than when they are brand new. The car is totally stock, 91 octane, with no optimization done at all for good Ľ mile Ets. Stock RFTs set at 36psi. The totally stock runs: Near sea level, 52F. 91 Octane Shell. 01/01/08 Run#1 13.5 @ 103.1mph (2.0 sec 60’ time) Run #2 13.5 @ 103.6 mph. (2.0 sec 60’ time.) 0-60mph: 4.9 seconds, 0-100mph: 12.5 seconds Run#3 13.5 @ 103.6mph (2.0 sec 60’ time) Identical Times! 0-60 mph: 4.9 seconds 0-100 mph: 12.5 seconds. AFTER INSTALLING JB+. 50F, 91 Octane Shell. Same day, same test section. Run#1 13.2 @ 108.1 mph (2.1 sec 60’ time). More wheelspin! 0-60mph 4.7 seconds, 0-100mph: 11.4 seconds. Run#2 13.1 @ 108.1 mph (2.0 sec 60’ time). 0-60 mph: 4.6 seconds, 0-100 mph: 11.2 seconds. (over a second quicker than stock) Run#3 13.1 @ 108.0 mph (2.0 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.6 seconds, 0-100 mph: 11.2 seconds. So with better traction, (lower tire pressure or after market tires), and more adaptation, this would be capable of hitting the 12’s without a doubt. And once the car has a few more miles on it, that alone might do it. Pretty impressive for a non-intrusive plug-in solution. And with a solid 4.5mph gain, that would equate to about a 40-45hp gain. And this is just a preliminary Beta unit with more user adjustable features planned in the future. Terry says this particular unit is on the lowest 91 octane setting. FYI: I didn’t notice a drastic improvement at first. But later on when I drove around in the day, the car seemed to get faster and faster. I am a firm believer you can’t just get instant adaptation when changing tunes on this car. It’s amazing how cheap it is to get this much horsepower. 40+ hp for $300-$400? I don’t know what Terry’s final pricing will be, but this is incredibly cheap compared to how much it would cost to get this instant much HP gain on previous vehicles that I have modded. Perhaps with 93 octane or better, the increases would be even more. After Installing Nitto NT555R Drag Radials: 51F 91 Octane Shell. 01/03/08 Run#1 12.9 @ 108.2 mph (2.0 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.4 seconds, 0-100 mph: 11.0 seconds. Run#2 12.9 @ 108.2 mph (1.9 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.4 seconds, 0-100 mph: 11.1 seconds. Run#3 12.8 @ 109.5 mph (1.9 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.3 seconds, 0-100 mph: 10.7 seconds. Run#4 12.8 @ 108.8 mph (1.9 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.3 seconds, 0-100 mph: 10.8 seconds. Added 1 gallon of 100 octane to 3 gallons of 91 octane. ~93-95 octane. Run#1 12.9 @ 110.1 mph (2.0 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.4 seconds, 0-100 mph: 10.8 seconds. (Excessive Wheel Spin) Run#2 12.7 @ 110.6 mph (1.9 sec 60’ time) 0-60 mph: 4.3 seconds, 0-100 mph: 10.4 seconds. Run#3 12.7 @ 110.6 mph (1.9 sec 60’ time) 0-60mph: 4.2 seconds, 0-100 mph: 10.5 seconds.

The +50whp performance to $ range would end up around $5.50 per hp (if Terry put out the JB+ around $279 range). That is cheap cheap cheap. I can't think much other mods out there that provide such a bang for the buck.

My best 0-60mph is 4.3 sec. with street tires. I bet an AWD xi could get 3.9-4.0 sec. 0-60mph with just a tune on street tires though.

This is a sub 4 second 0-60mph run. Also, many people who drag race with AWD want to have a little bit of wheel spin to get from bogging, and the help preserve the clutch.

I have logs of my 6MT running mid 3s 0-60mph at the dragstrip. Of course, this is with fully warmed up Hoosiers and a not-for-the-feight of heart launch. 0-60 is all about traction once you make above a certain amount of hp.

Just looking to see a simple steet tires, dci, pump gas setup on the Procede running stage 2 or Jb3 running map 7.
From my searching I found that the JB3 has done 4.3 and the Procede done it in 4.4. Any updates with some new guys recording better speed on the above setup?

I got 3.56 without the standard roll out figured in. So this would be 3.35 in a magazine test or Vbox Screen.
And this is not using any spray in 1st and 2nd gears due to traction already being marginal. In street trim, on Nittos, I have dozens and dozens of runs in the high 3's
