Painting Roof
I just couldn't find anyone near to do the Matte Black vinyl roof, so I'm thinking different route. If the price difference is too much I'm thinking about Painting the roof.
So my question is who has done this mod and where did you have it done for around how much? What's the approximate turn around time? One last question, What do you guys think about painting the roof versus Vinyl roof? Any input would be appreciated. |

hey darren, nice meetin u the other nite
i was talkin to long about this earlier today and he said it can be as much as $600 and vinyl is rather cheap, maybe like $150, but even then wen u put on the vinyl, tryin to get out the bubbles would be a PITA and could cause a lot of scratches on the vinyl and it wouldn't look good at all. hope this convinces u that paintin is the only and best way to do a blk top, but u'll hav to fork out the $$$

Wow price difference is hugh, I have contacted In-Style Graphics on Western Ave & 4th near K-Town today, Harris (guy who work there) told me he is waiting for 3M Vinyl Overlay(Top notch material) to arrive, and told me it'd be around $220 for the roof wrap. I'd rather go vinyl route and use that extra $$ towards the Bastuck since Julius told me they will have Special GB for Bastuck Exhaust pretty soon |

i know Kevin, LACSTER got his roof painted for way less than $600 PM him
and regarding vinyl roof. I did it w/ 2 piece kit from bluebatmobile for my E92 335. My tint shop installed it with no bubbles and scratch left on it for $60.
