Detailed my car...
Well used all the products you'd expect to see .. PC 7424, Lake country pads, clay bar, menzerna polishes, optimum sealant ,tons of MF towels etc. But although my car is definitely a lot better then where it started. I'm just not THRILLED with the results. For instance , i took out plenty of spider web scratches and got rid of all industrial fallout using the clay. But i have these little tough as HELL water spots on some parts of my car and no matter what i did. They wont come out. Also little speckles all over the place, i have no clue what it is.. Tree sap? But wont come out... I went as far as yellow pad and compound... Still wont remove either of them. I'm pretty sure i worked all the polishes in long enough. Although at times it was difficult to remove... Im starting to think its just the PC doesn't have the power i need to help rid my car of some of these issues. But not positive.. And i really dont feel like spending the 280 dollars to go buy a flex.. Someone who is more experienced then me please chime in.. Just need some advice.

IMO the PC is the problem.
I tried and tried to get it right with a PC but never could. The specks you see are from the polish not getting broken down A rotary did the job quick and easy. I only use the PC to apply glaze or sealer

This kind of work CAN be done with a PC. I promise! Try using M105 and follow it up with M205.
These are the results I got from using M105 on an orange pad and then following it up with M205 on a black pad. Didn't take all that long. ![]() |
