markets supply and demand, these cars are highly valued in the the prosche world for many reasons.
1. its the last air cooled versoin of the 911 (this is important becuase it was a tradition for 40 years for porsche and the quit doing it in the 996 body style.
2. this model was the last of the hand made porsche modles, the 993 was made in munich and it is honestly one of the most solid cars i have ever seen (i run a car detailing buisnes so i see all sorts of cars and this one feels as good as it did when it was brand new)
3. the body style. this was considered to be the best body style ever that was done by porsche (collectors think so and same with most true enthusiasts.

the KBB says 28, BUT local dealers are selling them for a market price of $40-$50K for a low millage carrera's. this is becuase KBB doesnt take in consideration of what the true value of the car is

people arent buying them right now becuase people all want a good deal and no one who owns these cars is going to give it to anyones for $28K because its a terrible price for this car and every car collector would say the same.

like i said this car is perfect, im the 2nd owner who bought if from the owner of Toyota of Orange and i have garage kept it with all 9 of my other cars

im moving next week to the UK and thought maybe some one on the forum would like to pick up one of these great cars for a discount, compared to what the going price is

2 things:

the 1996 911 has 282 hp, not 270. 270hp was only on the 95

its worth WAY more than 28k. 28k would be about right if this had 80,000 miles, this one has low miles, about 3000 per year!

Thank you bro, i forgot about the extra 12hp i just copied and pasted. ya honestly 28 is a joke for this car. i just dont think they are appreciated by yonger people as much as the new ones.
