Invitation To All Tuned (And Untuned) 335s

I'll be there with my friend this Saturday. His 335 has a canbus procede, mt and he can't launch unless he gets lucky. I'd like to see how he does against other tuned cars especially a JBx. If Shiv or even TB show up I'll pay their entry fee.

dang.. I looked at the map and this is WAY down south in GA... was hoping it was up closer to ATL or Columbus as I would have been coming over from Alabama.

I guess you're talking about the poor launches. Sounds like you've never been to the track. It's easy to tell when a launch goes bad.

When he launches well his 60' time is around 1.85 and his et is around 2.6 - 2.7. When he launches bad he's planted firmly in the twos and he doesn't like to talk about ets. His reaction time is usually decent - sometimes he's so quick its a negative number.

Hope that clears it up for you. If you've got a mt, you might want to take your car to the track just to see what I'm talking about.

P.S. I'm closer to LA than you think.

If you wanna hit up Atlanta dragway sometime I'd be down but south GA would be one hell of a drive for me. I'm stock anyway so I can't help you battle a JB3 lol

I have been to Steele, AL a few times (mostly previous car) and Montgomery, AL once. Douglasville, GA is supposed to be another decent track not too terribly far away... I know that is where Z1 holds their annual drag event.

If I get up at 5:00 AM, I can make it there by the time the gates open.

I would try and come though but my wife and daughters would have a fit if I missed the twins' spring dance recital this Saturday.
