Hi Guys and Gals,

Finally took the plunge and placed my order for a European Delivery:

Dealer kept asking me if I was sure about the Lemon. He asked if I had seen it and my only response was only in pictures. He said it's a bit of a, "leap of faith."

I know some dont like the combo, but I do. My previous car was a 2001 Audi A4 1.8T, Brilliant Black w/ Ecru interior. The Ecru is similar to Lemon in that it's a cream color and two-tone with black. However, Lemon has more black (ie: black back dash) than the A4's combo. Loved the combo in my A4, but I dont want another black car just yet. I've been driving black so long, I want something starkly different. Not to mention, black is so hard to keep clean. I didn't have too much trouble with the Ecru (that was leatherette tho), so I'm hoping the Lemon won't be that bad. The nice thing about the two-tone is that I can pour an entire cup of coffee on the black carpetted floor and after cleaning it up you won't beable to tell.

The only thing I wasn't sure about was the trim. I'm not a big fan of wood, but in the case of lemon, wood looked best IMO. Finally, a friend of mine convinced me to get the Aluminum at the last minute. Now, I'm thinking I'm glad I chose the Aluminum.

My order is a Euro Delivery so now I'm just waiting for the date. Haven't been able to pry myself away from this site for more than a couple of hours since I ordered!

Very nice colour combo. I expect to pick up my 330xi with the same combination this coming Thursday, and funny enough before I saw your post here with a link to some photos I had never really seen this combination before. Alot of people seem to comment that it will get dirty more easily, but given that the carpet is black, as well as the dash, steering wheel, door handles and front seatbacks I don't think it should be too bad keeping clean. Good idea adding the alarm too, I've seen too many horror story photos of E90's with damaged/gouged out headlights whereby the owner didn't even know until after the fact.

Ya, for me the Alarm was no question. My last car was stolen right out of my driveway! It had an alarm, but not the immobolizer, and they were able to bypass the alarm by unlocking the car manually.
