Removal Of Back Boxes Help!

Has anyone tried just removing the 2 back boxes off the 335i e90 and replacing them with stainless steel smaller silencers, will this make it much louder??

yes, that is essentially a section III exhaust system.

you can do that for sure, it can make it much louder or no louder at all....depends on the mufflers/silencers you go with.

It will certainly be cheaper than buying a premade section III like the BMW performance exhaust.
