[Quasimodem]

I already have the cell phone setup built into my car, so the cellphone works pretty well. However, seems that the snapin adapter is required to charge the phone and use of the car's antenna.

I guess that even though I have the "Y" connector from the phone to the usb and the microphone (I guess) connectors in the handrest, the phone is not charging or using the car antenna. So I have to buy the snapin adapter.

My problem is that when I charge my phone at home, and I try to listen to music while it is charging, I get a distinct hum in the background. It is so bad that when I am listening to music, I do not plug it in to charge. This is an Iphone problem, it has nothing to do with BMW.

Nevertheless, I am worried that the Iphone 3g snapin adapter will cause a hum when I am listening to music? Can somebody with the Iphone 3g and the snapin adapter tell me whether they have this problem at home and in their car with the snapin adapter?
