Replacing RunFlats - lease question....

I searched a bit on this but didn't find a definitive answer. Will our leased E90s be required to be returned with runflats on them?

I have about 3,200 miles on my 330i and I'm getting sick of the harsh and bouncy feeling of the stock 18 inch runflats. I've been hearing alot about the Goodyear Eagle DS3 tires and I'm leaning towards those.

My thought was to just replace the RFs now with the Eagles, enjoy the ride of the Eagles for the duration of the lease and then slap the RFs back on when I turn the car in. What do you guys think? I think makes more sense than wearing out the RFs totally, especially if we need to return our cars with them in the end.

yes... they must be of similar specs to the tires that originally came with the car...

If the car was leased with run flat performance tires, they must be returned with performance run flat tires...

Great. Thanks guys. If I'm going to end up returning with the RFs, I'd rather take em off now and buy the Goodyear Eagles.

Still painful to spend 800 bucks on tires on a leased car, but what the hell...rather do that than spend money for new RFs that I hate..

Thats what i am doing. I bought 19's so my 18's are packed away. But I am buying 18" bliztecks and using them in the winter. My car will be going back with the same tires it came in on. LOL!
