As the event chair it is my great honor to invite all of you to attend the next BMW CCA Driving weekend. I know times are tough so we planned a full weekend of events that is reasonably priced.

Starting September 5, 2009 we will be holding a TSD Rally. This amazingly fun event, run on public (paved) roads, will take about 4 hours and end at the Aloft Hotel in Rancho Cucamonga. The hotel is giving us rooms for $75/night. The cost for this event is $10 if you only do the Rally, but FREE if you also do the auto-x.

Then on Sunday September 6, 2009 we are hosting our second auto-x of the 2009 season. The event will be at Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway). Entry fees are $75/driver if you register early, $10 for an extra lunch, and $10 to rent a helmet. Included in your entry fee is instruction all day (if you want it), water and lunch. Please note that lunch is catered by Hooters in Ontario Mills. At the last event we had 2 servers who added a great "flavor" to the event.

I'll be there on one condition... may I please have fun AND melt tires? I'll most likely sign up late just to make it harder for all the wonderful volunteers. (nah, that's not my reason. I'm just kinda non-commital) This could be a good event to shake down the "dirty thirty" before buttonwillow.

PLEASE NOTE: The date of this event has changed to September 20, 2009. There will also be a TSD Rally on September 19, 2009. The Rally Aloft starts at South Bay BMW this time and ends at the Aloft in Rancho Cucamonga. Everybody who did the last Rally loved it! For those of you who want to attend the auto-x but it is too far this Rally is intended to get you close to the track the night before.

I am also about to announce another auto-x coming up soon. This one will be a bit different and will knock your socks off! Good stuff...
