Swaping sport suspension with non-sport

Hello,

While i still look at the car i know for sure i will get sport package for the seats and wheels BUT NOT for suspension. It is juts to tight for me ...
Now how hard is to just replace sport suspension with non-sport standard one?
What parts need to be replaced and what falls under SUSPENSION ?
Any picture would be helpful.

Just get coil covers and adjust the ride hide to what your comfortable with.

springs and shocks is all you would need for a change over.

man you think that is tight? Remind me to never take you for a ride in any of my cars...

However like Mike-y had stated it is springs/shocks and around 4 hours of labor.

But for the price of BMW parts, you may want to just go with an aftermarket suspension setup.

I bet you can find a set used for really cheap.

*looks at stock non-sport suspension over in the corner*



or find someone local with non-sport to swap with you.

More than likely the suspension is not the cause of the discomfort you are feeling. It's probably the tires. I'd try different (softer) tires before changing the suspension. Get something without stiff sidewalls. This will also be a lot easier to do than changing out your suspension. On my previous car, I was very happy with Sumitomo and Kuhmo tires. Can't beat the value for the performance.
