Some lightning shots - need halp/Photoshop request
Here are a couple shots. Get your Photoshop's ready, I need your help e90post!
I took some shots and to not have a wall of text it will be short and sweet. I took them like 2 hours ago using a Nikon D40, shutter was at 10 seconds and the ISO was 400 Aperture was at F13 most of the time. I need help with this grain sh!t .I did reduce it in Photoshop but still no use. Combine photos and do what you like I just want a sweet picture with lightning in the background! Add some white halos if you want to :P Thanks! *If you would like the RAW files instead of the JPEG's just PM me. **The ones that have the "DSC" file names are the unedited ones. http://s444.photobucket.com/albums/q...ent=better.jpg Just keep going right and see the shots, just the ones with the car need to be edited! So you want us to help you edit the photos you took? I don't know man, but the part of photography that really attracted me in the beginning was being able to create unique photos that I edited MYSELF. It's kinda like paintings/drawings.... Picasso did his own thing.... That's what's special about photography...

i don't really think photoshop would be able to work it's magic. any great photos that are improved by photoshop need to contain a quality basis. the only thing that photoshop does is to better the picture. photoshop can only make a good picture stunning, it cannot make a picture that doesn't work works.
in your case, the detail of the car is permanently lose due to underexposure. there doesn't even seem to be any detail for photoshop to bring up, so it can't magically introduce any detail for you. next time use an ND filter for the top lighting sky and bump up your exposure. also, avoid using f/13 as you have a D40, stay at ISO 200 / F/8-10 and use shutter speed accordingly.
