Well That Was Easy!
I have read on here numerous times that people were having a hard time changing their own oil, I must say I am a lil confused.
I changed my oil last night for the first time since I have purchaced my car and it had to be the easiest of any car I have ever owned! If you have any mechanical inclination at all it will not take over a 1/2 an hour, given you have all the proper tools.

I would reschedule but.................................., I know enough bullshit. Really I am just scared of you Jersey guys!!! LOL I will meet up with you guys at some point just not this one!

Yah, it's really no big deal at all.
-Warm up car. -Remove filter cap (located in best place ever, directly ontop of engine, has a black, round, twist off lid) and replace filter and both o-ring seals that COME WITH FILTER. Filter just pulls out of housing. -Remove oil plug (located inside a plastic flap under car, easy to locate). -Let drain into oil pan until it stops. -Place filter cap with new filter and seals back on the car making sure it is pretty tight. -Prior to reinstalling oil plug make sure (old) crush washer came off with bolt when you removed it, if not it will be stuck to oil pan. -Install oil plug with new crush washer (new washer comes with filter). -Dump new oil in (e90 = 7qrts). -Check for leaks under car. -Take car around the house, when you get back check for leaks under hood and under car. GL.
