FS: Intake - stock w/carbon filter cleanly removed

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
**** SOLD , thanks *******

I bought it new from a dealership for about $350. Removed the carbon filter and had it on the car for a couple of weeks.

Reason for selling: Although it definitely adds some pep it's a bit louder than stock/w carbon filter. I hate to give up the added performance but I just really liked/got used to a very quiet cabin, so I've gone back to the stock intake w/carbon filter.

Price: $225 w/second day shipping included. PM please. I will ship this the same day provided funds are sent before 5:00pm central.

Does that price include the HFM as pictured, or just the two halves of the box?

Yes - it's the complete assembly with the MAF (HFM) and new air filter. The whole thing was on for probably 300-400 miles so it's virtually new.

Here's a good dyi thread - but keep in mind you can't "go back to stock". If you want to go back to stock you will have purchase the ENTIRE assembly - costs anywhere from $350-$400+ for the entire assembly - the individual parts are NOT sold separately. OR you could buy mine - the filter was VERY carefully and cleanly removed. The edges have been very finely smoothed and the entire assembly is absolutely SPOTLESS inside and out.
