IMHO, of course

For reference I've had three previous cars tinted at 27%, 20%, and 15% (in that order) and I have 18% on my Bimmer. 15% was by far the best.
Agreed. I have 15% on mine as well, and it looks great. I just wish sometimes that I didn't go for the legal thing of a lighter tint on the front, but I didn't want tons of tickets. Still, sometimes I roll down my front windows just so I can pretend they would look as good I rolled them back up.

I've had 35% down to 20% on various cars. Nothing darker than that. What color interior do you have as that plays a big role in how dark you want to go. If you have a light interior you might want to go darker and vice versa with a dark interior. I have a blk dakota leather in my e92 and I think I am leaning towards getting 35% on it when I opt for tints.

I just got my titanium silver e90 tinted 20% all around on Monday, and it looks perfect to me. I could try and snap some pictures for you sometime if you'd like.

Double 0's with a 35 on the windshield. Thats as dark as you can get. If you want lighter, i would get 15% all around with a 35% on the windshield.

Yeah, if you want your car towed after getting the ticket in the middle of the highway.

Cops are spotting these a mile away when they where polarized sunglasses. Going the opposite direction, it's easy to spot any tint on the front windshield. They'll be forgiving sometimes on the side windows being too dark but if you tint your entire front windshield......stand by for the tow truck..even if it's very light.

Makes it impossible to see into your car which is a safety issue for them, which makes them a little angry.

I know tinting the windshield is highly illegal, but look at the OP. He doesn't care about legality. The darkest is do my windshield is 50% which is barely even noticeable.
