It's a 5 series wagon with sports body kit.... but seriously?? Is this an option or do these tools request or install the badge themselves??

If I drove a real /M, I'd be pissed if I saw this.

someone went to a lot of trouble debadging and sticking it on there I think. Unless its a real M5 touring it shouldn't be there... I don't think non-M cars with a M sport package ever got a badge on the back.

On the E39 540i M Sport package cars, BMW put M Badges on the trunk. I know a friend of mine has one. Not sure if the E60 with M Sport packages have the same thing.

And completely off topic, Jarrad I posted you out some M badges for your trunk, Get em on before the cruise.

It wasn't an M5, and the driver didn't look like the sort of person to mod a car, especially with an ebay badge.

My guess is it was either requested during purchase or it came as stock?

Ive heard that Euro deliveries may have not gotten those badges, Could be why you have never seen any.

I could be wrong on this, But Ill speak to my mate who works for BMW im sure hell know.

its noy an option from BMW i am almost 100% sure .

If you like i can copy you a list of all the SA options and youcan see for yourself.

All E90Msports aren´t fitted with an ///M badge, US or Euro spec? can it be that no one who ordered one of these from the dealer ever asked for it to be fitted ? Doubt it..

I think its more your mate is taking you for a bit of a BMW noob

Why are there no e90 Msports with M badges?

If badging was/ is an option, how comes there isnt 1 on this forum with a badged Msport from the factory?

but i think you should get you friends last 7 digits from his chassis nr, and i can tell you direct from BMW if it was fitted from factory
