Hand moisturizer for seats-had to ask
I have been using the walmart type cleaner/moisturizer for my seats for the past 16 months. They seem to work well because my car still has the leather smell when the windows are closed for over a day.
From checking the threads it seems like the walmart products are mediocre at best and thus had to ask? Because leather is like skin, wouldnt hand moisturizer (possibly diluted) be the best product to use for moisturizing our seats? Sounds funny, but think about it Flame on..... |

Even if it was effective, I don't think I could stand the smell!

While leather is a "skin", it's cow skin, not human skin (wouldn't that be gross - human skin seats!). I'd stick with a good leather cleaner/conditioner specifically designed for leather (I like Zaino products). And no, I wouldn't use the leather cleaner/conditioner on my hands - I'm not a cow (although I may weigh almost as much as a cow). Hey, I wonder if a live cow would appreciate a leather conditioner once in a while?

Ditch the hand moisturizer and find yourself an effective leather conditioner/cleaner from detailedimage.com or something.
Since you have a coupe, beware letting the hand moisturizer come in contact with the interior door handles; I recently had to get my passenger side interior handle replaced under warranty cause it was peeling. When I asked my tech why, he said oily hands and/or hand lotion/moisturizer speeds up the peeling ![]() stupid female passengers

I'd recommend Leathermasters, leatherique, or the zaino products.

I use PB's Leater Stuff - http://www.detailedimage.com/Poorboy...P126/16-oz-S1/
I use it way more than I should, but it just smells so great. |
