Question PSI In Front & Rear Tires?

Hi Everyone,

Any harms if 2 PSI a bit higher in front and rear tires than recommended.

Manual indicated Front = 32 PSI and Rear = 35 PSI

I'm appreciated of your inputs and Thanks.

It's ok as long as it's within the maximum pressure of the tire, usually imprinted on the sidewall. If it's higher, why don't you just let some air out?

I just got a low tire pressure warning in my car yesterday. I took it to the tire repair place and found a screw in my rear run flat. After he fixed the tire, I asked the mechanic what pressure you are supposed to put in the tires and he just opened the driver's side door and showed me the sticker that lists the air pressure.

It's 35 front and 41 rear.

I have tried to release some air out and it went low and I pumped it again and it shot up a bit higher

Driver side door of mine shows Front = 32 & Rear = 35. Eh, interesting? Must be sport package

BMW recommends that you not exceed 100 mph with the recommended tire pressure http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100597. BUT added pressure is recommended for jaunts over 100mph. So adding extra air pressure is fine.

You should read the manual. I think it's on page 114. It's going to be different for everyone since we all have different tires for different models and packages. I think it's okay if you're a little over or under inflated since not all tire gages are exact.
