Hey gang,

I posted this in the Southwest forum, but thought I'd try here, too.
Short version: I need a detailer in the Phoenix area to get a quote on a repair

Long version: The carhop at Sonic finally turned my fears to reality and slipped, and scratched my wife's car. I filled out a form and had to call about a dozen times, and finally threaten to sic my insurance company after them, to get a call back. They admit liability and will send a check after I send two quotes.

I'd like to get it done by a good body shop or detailer.

They're opening up a Sonic here finally (still under construction, I believe it's the first in New England) and that whole concept worries me. Clipping of things to my car, people on roller skates - nothing good could possibly come of that. Think I'll keep my cars out of there.

Good luck getting it repaired though.

They are the exclusive detailer for the Barret-Jackson Auto Auction. I will be using him to remove a few door dings I have. I met Perry and he's a very nice guy. I couldn't believe the photos of all the exotic cars in his office that he has detailed in the past. They're in Phoenix at 22nd Street and Indian School. North side of the road.

+1 A dealer in the area recommended them to me when I was car shopping - that they can fix any cosmetic problem to good as new.

I'll be taking my black BMW there when I have some share cash and time.

Thanks again for the post. Sonic paid out $200, and I'm on the fence between getting the whole car (has a lot of swirls) done, or using a PC to get out the swirls and then leaving the scratches alone (or paying just for those repairs).

If you're still in need, I run a business that does all of these kind of things for the BMW store in N. Scottsdale. (All of the Penske stores actually)
