hey all i did my first detail on this truck. it was notin to bad of condition but the lady wanted it cleaned up for her husband before he came beack from iraq. i would like to thank 328i for all his help. he pretty much told me how to do a detail lol. i apologize if the pics suck.

good work bro but i do suggest to do po85rd after sip to bring out a higher gloss in the paint but even without it it looks good.

i would but im a poor detailer lol. i buy something new once a month. im slowly for surely building up my equipment and chemicals

That's BIG vehicle to have to deal with your first time detailing!! It could have been worse though (thankfully it isn't BLACK).

Nice job on the detail and to what Jon335i mentioned above. Great products make the job a little easier and the results more appealing.

+1 for Jopa too ...... HUGE pics for a HUGE truck!

well its my bosses truck and i went to drop it off this morning and now like 3 people want the same thing done. one guys is dropping his car off tonight and its black. lol hopefully its not to bad. its a brig crown victoria though.

Great work, especially for your first detail. One thing I noticed is that you have 3 sealants that you used, did you use them on different parts of the car or layer them? If you layered them I would recommend not using the NXT because it's a cleaner wax, so it will remove any other wax or sealant that you put on before it. If you're doing a one step polish you might also want to try something less aggresive like Menzerna Power Finish or 106fa. Those polishes with a Green Polishing Pad will leave an even better looking finish than just using SIP alone.

it is a good but he said my price was to high. i feel like $350 is a good price for bumper cleaning and that includes clearing up the paint as much as possible

Yeah, maybe $250 - $300 would be a better starting point for pricing on a larger vehicle.
