We will be taking part in the first Luxury + Supercar Weekend downtown Vancouver, Sept 12th - 13th. Our newly completed Aston Martin "Helvellyn Frost" V8 Vantage and "Darth Maul" M3 Stage II will be at the show along with a wide range of exotic super cars that have not been seen in Vancouver yet. -------------------------------------------------- Vancouver, BC… Automotive luxury, performance and passion heat up Vancouver’s waterfront at Canada’s first annual Luxury + Supercar event, September 12-13, 2009. Hosted by Vancouver’s Edgewater Casino - located outdoors at the Plaza of Nations - the first annual Luxury + Supercar Weekend brings together the finest collection of both luxury and supercars from prestigious manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley, BMW, Rolls Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Lotus, Aston Martin, Bugatti, Audi, Jaguar, Saleen, Noble, Spyker, Maserati, well as exclusive never-before-seen personalized supercars from an elite group of private collectors. While there is some debate about the origin of the term "supercar", British motor journalist L.J.K. Setright claims to have coined the word in the 1960’s while writing about the Lamborghini Miura. Used to describe the most prestigious designs and engineering advances in automobiles, supercars are created to showcase supreme advancements in technology and are often designed to push the limits of speed. They are generally not profitable for manufacturers. Only limited quantities are produced, which end up in private collections never to be viewed by the public. went to the show today and it was great!! definitly alot of exotics we dont see locally...and i was lucky enough to hear the owner rev the engine of enzo..
