Hey guys, I have a 2009 328i.
When I got the car, they didnt have one with GPS, bluetooth, and premium brown leather in stock that also had the sport pack, so I'm left without the sport package. I absolutely love the 162 wheels in 18 inches. Mine right now are 16 inches. I have a friend who's selling his 162's with the regular runflat tires. Will I need to change my tires in order not to screw up my speedo? Thanks a lot for your help! PS: Am I going to lose a lot of comfort by doing this? Going from 16 to 18? Thanks guys, your help is greatly appreciated. |

It's not the rim size but the overall diameter of the wheel+tire that counts. Most likely, the 162 with the run flats is the same diameter as your stock 16s. You can verify this by going to the wheel section on E90POST and using the calculator function provided.

I tried looking at the FS section, but no1 states what the tire size of the 162's are.
They just assume ppl know and my friend has his in storage up north and cant remember what they are. Thanks again! |

Okay, he just found this info on one of his bills from BMW service:
Bridgestone Potenza 2 X 22540R18 7/32 and 2 X 22535R18 4S 9/32. Whats in bold and underlined is the status of the thread... Now given that I'm a noob and have no clue about this, it sounds a little less than 60% ![]() Other noob question pointed out by a fellow Canadian, am I going to have to do anything about the TMPS missing vs. the one we use here? |
