Hey guys,

So I am in the process of changing my headlights but am stuck .

I cant remove the last screw on the bottom of the headlight. The space is very small and on top of that there is like a black piece, that holds the headlight washers, in the way.

At this point I am totally stuck and wanted to ask if there is someone here that can help me out today? Or if you have any ideas?

pics? have you removed your bumper and front wheels? i think when sgxi and i did his, we did it from the inside.

Yep Bumper is off. I am going to try something else and see if it works. I also have an extra set of hands now, so it should be better

Thanks to my sisters help, I was able to get the headlight out. Unfortunately nothing happened after that.

Was hooking up the parachute harness and did not like the idea of having a bulb running all the time in the engine bay. Was getting way to hot and couldn't find a place to put it that would safely hide it and not let any light out of the bumper.

Therefore I decided to call it off and had to put everything back the way it was ( whole day for nothing). Going to get a different harness that uses resistors instead of bulbs.

This is definitely exhausting. Maybe the next time I do this, I should get another person helping me to finish it a lot faster.

Sorry I missed this post man... you need small hands and arms to get that screw off...

That really sucks with the hareness... hope you can get somethong worked out!

Yep small hands was the key. Had to get my sister to help me out

The harness I had was the "parachute" harness which uses the fogs to regulate the watts.

I didn't want my fogs on all the time and thought I could hide the light. But when I had it running (maybe 2 mins) The fog was crazy bright and very hot. I then decided it was no longer safe to use this harness and it wasn't practical. I was worried about the heat as well as trying to hide the fog light so that it does not show through once the bumper was installed. This setup is better for those that wish to have there fogs on with the low beam.

I just purchased the harness free kit from e 90 andy which will be a lot easier for me.

I did the Parachute harness myself and the fog bulbs has to go into the fog lamp assembly otherwise its too hot and may even burn other components inside your car.
I had my fogs on everytime the low beam kicks in, kind of nice like 4 halogen lamps are turn on, get a little extra brightness.
