For you wheel and tire experts!

I'm not sure, but I've read that a few people here say the offsets for the E92 are the same as the E90...? Anyone?

I'm trying to figure it out myself. I emailed iforged, so whenever I find out I will post.

if they are the same as the e90 then ou prolly wanna go with something around the range of et35-et40 for offsets on a 10-inch wide wheel...thats what several members on this board runnin 20's are using right now including me...

You'll have a lot more room in the rear of the E92 then the E90.

While E90s have to result with using the front wheels ony of the E46 M3s (lack of room in the back to fit the rears from E46 M3), a few have already installed the staggard set from that same car on the E92.

If anyone can tell me the widths and offset of the wheels on the M3 Comp. Package, I can play around with that trusty calculator we have on the top of this page.

not true, e90's can take m3 offset on the rear. some members are running offsets in the low 20's for 19x9.5 wheels. im running +22mm on 19x9.5. i think if you go 20x10 you can do +27 or higher in the rears for the e90's. as for e92

not sure if the offsets are same as the e90

Hmm, that's strange. I tried these exact same wheels on my car and the rear wheels stuck out alot. Yet on the E92, the wheels appear flushed.

I once tried a 9.5 with a +25 and that was not pretty. I wonder why you have no issues. I guess my car is defective!

i'm on oem sport drop. i think if i lower my car, i may need to roll just a tad. but so far no rubbing on my current setup. also, i think the brand and size of tires makes a difference. i'm using toyo tr1's 265/30/19. I have a friend who has +20 or +21 on eibach pro kit, rubbed like crazy on 285/35/19, switched to 255/30/19, problem solved...no more rubbing.

i guess everyone has a different opinion on how much is too aggressive. i personally like this offset range, makes the rim perfectly flush with the outer edge of the fender.

Sounds like you friend took the entire wheel/tire package straight off an M3. I'm glad to hear that neither one of you guys are having anymore problems.

You're lucky with your tires cause I thought the T1Rs were a little chubbier then the usual.

I'm not so sure. From what I know the e90 and e92 have the same wheeltread, but the e92 are narrower so it should have less room in the rear.

so far from what i can gather, the toyos seem to stretch more than other brands. the same tire size of another brand on my offset would rub very slightly
