hey guys i hear that bovs and dvs do the same thing is one more efficient then the other, i have read posts where the owners of dvs say you can really feel a difference, it feels like i put a new tune on there and stuff like that, however with bovs i hear posts like no difference in driving just sounds cool or it works almost like my older dvs so is this to say dvs are better?

The biggest difference you will feel is the ability to hold more boost, which is only a problem if you're pushing a lot to begin with. Otherwise, you shouldn't feel much of a problem. Lots of people are claiming new DVs making them feel like their car is faster and spools quicker. May or may not be the butt dyno needing correction. But if you're pushing tons of boost, on stock DVs, chances are they wont hold it all. At that point, you will feel a difference between the stock ones and whatever else you put on there.

On this car it doesn't really matter because we do not have maf sensors therefor releasing the air to atmosphere is fine since its not metered air.

If your going to get meth in the future, SHiv stated somewhere in the threads that it would not be good because Meth/water will be released from the BOV...So if meth is in your future get the DVs, unless you want that psssssssshhhhh noise, which from the looks of it, you do

If installed properly you shouldn't be discharging meth. Meth kicks on when you go into boost at 100% duty or if progressive at whatever set point you start with and then full 100% duty at the full set point you designate. Air moving in the charge pipe is very fast - by the time the valve opens most meth will be ingested by the motor. Im sure a little might get out but nothing to worry about. You could do what I have done and set it up so that you have dual nozzles in the intake manifold - one on each side of the throttle body. But i use a different ECU to tune that allows me to control everything. I don't rely on others tunes - i set everything myself.

I have a BOV and have thoroughly tested the STETT location and it does not spray out of the bov. Now if you use the upper intercooler elbow, then you will have a better change of BOV discharge.
